Quite interesting, makes me want to apply. Think of how much more possible things would be with 1Gbit Internet connections? Hell, you'd be able to run your own websites, dedicated servers, etc from your home and be able to (and this is what Google plans to do) share big data at very fast rates and be able to develop and experiment with bigger applications, such as 3D experiments.

Props to your Google, this is cool, and thank you for not trying to be greedy like all other American Internet companies and offer God-awful speeds for a fortune.
