Account Deleted

Post by soulless91 »

Hello, I don't know where should I post this so I chose to do it here, I haven't logged Smolderforge in a while (more than 6 months I think) and now when I tried to log it seems that my account was deleted so I was wondering if there is any way to get it back. I can log my old forum account but not in-game account (this is the old account)

I think it would be better if it was in Help, Issues & Reports section but it shouldn't be any problem for a GM to move it there for you.

I am sorry this went overlooked. So you said you hadn't played in over half a year in December? Were you ever a donor by chance? If not, inactive accounts on Smolderforge that are not donors are deleted within 10-12 months of being inactive (never logged into). We do this because it is essential to keep the database clean and free of unused clutter. Only donor accounts are preserved indefinitely. If you were a donor, you would have had to have been inactive for over 2 years since we implemented donor preservation at the start of 2013 (see here).

Thank you for replying. I don't think I've been inactive for over 4-5 months, I even gave my account info to a buddy to check out my warrior since I wasn't able to log in and show him at that time and I think he said he logged it (not sure though). Also, I haven't donated myself but I used a donation code that one guy from my guild gave me (Idk if that info helps).

Hi Henhouse,

I have been talking to gamemasters online and i got info that i should email you at [email protected].

I did that about three weeks ago about my lost account. I Understand u have plenty to do now during schooltime etc..

But i cant really wait any longer now, so i logged on the forum and found this thread and found out it wasnt me spelling accname or password wrong. The account has actually been deleted. I gotta say this is pretty bad. I can understand you will remove accounts with no donations on it and so on.. But an account with 2-3 druids, brutal gear + amani warbear on several chars, its pretty rough!

Then i heard people online getting answer from you daily on the mail so i sent a new email that i still havent recieved any answer on.

With all respect i understand you got much to do, but since i am a good donator and plays alot when freetime is there i think those cases should have a higher priority then something else.

I hope you will answer this, or my emails during the next couple of days and i am sure we can get along well.

Best regards
