Installation help!

Hey guys so I just read about this server and I'm hoping to jump in as soon as possible, but I've ran into a few issues. I came straight from retail and still have it downloaded, do I need to uninstall it? I just downloaded the WoW TBC (Preloaded) torrent and I'm not really sure what to do from here. Inside the .wtf folder is only config and does not have the realmlist option.

Welcome to Smolderforge! So the realmlist is a file, not a folder named "realmlist.wtf". The file should be in the root directory, same place where the Wow.exe program is. You need to open it with Notepad or Wordpad and add to its contents (should be empty already):

set realmlist connect.smolderforge.com

Save the file, if it does not let you save, either disable UAC on Windows, or save to desktop as "realmlist.wtf" NOT .txt and then click & drag into the WoW folder and overwrite the blank existing one.

If you're having problems editing the realmlist.wtf file you can download an already edited one from here: http://www.mediafire.com/?05mnm7q642m9uhj
Just replace it with the one you have in the root directory. After that you're good to go. Just run WoW.exe and have fun !
