Downloader problems :(

Hey im new to this server and i downloaded everything to start playing but im having a problem with installing. Whenever i use the WoW installer for classic client it just freezes at 32 %. If i dont download classic client it wont let me download the BC client. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Have you tried downloading the torrent from other sites? We've had problems with installers being corrupted/broken.

Did you run the installer as admin? Have you tried re-starting your pc and trying again?

Restart computer, scan for viruses, defrag, etc. Typical Windows random problems are random.

i have a new problem now.. whenever i log in it starts updating... should i let it update?

No, not at all.

Once you've installed Classic, Install TBC, then patch to 2.4.3 with the patches. Afterwards, edit your realmlist.wtf file and set it to:

set realmlist connect.smolderforge.com
set patchlist connect.smolderforge.com

Save the file, then boot (always) WoW.exe and not the Launcher.

Why would you have deleted the install files before the game was even ready? At least ensure your setup is complete and you can login first before removing anything.

i didnt and btw when i logged in it said 2.0.0 for the patch

ok so now that ive stopped the updating im downloading the patchs. so after thats done it should work?

Downloading patches? The torrent has already downloaded the patches for you. If you're downloading anything sounds like you're trying to upgrade to retail.
