Spectate arena matches

I saw a server the other day that does this, allows you to spectate current games and allow you to run around the arena invisible. I think this would be a great feature for Smolderforge and would also help in reporting of wintraders.

Its enjoyable watching matches not just playing in them, I really think it would benifit the community and give people one more thing to do inworld.

I wonder if it's a part of the game, or did this server simply allow you to run around?

Basically you click on a NPC and you have a list of current going on matches, team names and ratings. You click one and it teleports you to the arena as its going on, You can move your character around just like as if you were there although you cant talk inspect or interact anyhow, you are invisible to everyone and you can move fast to get around (not flying)

Ive not seen any of the blizz stuff so i wouldnt know, hopefully that explains it enough.

This would be cool, yes but I cannot imagine how much time spent programming would have to go into making this... O_o... So if we were ever to, it would be low priority as we're stressing to get enough pushed out in a timely manner as is.

Its similar to the spectate mode of arena in a way. The one he is talking about is basically like being a ghost in arena except you cant talk or interact with anything. Even if we could just get a spectate mode like they have on the retail arena servers that would be nice. Always wanted to have that as part of the game. Would probably increase the amount of players in arena also. Would incease the interest. Could also get some in game betting going lol since it wouldn't affect the economy obviously. Its part of the game if im not mistaken hen.
God that would be a sick idea. I love it. I vote for this too. It was in high demand on the retail servers all the way into cata but was never implemented into the retail game. Alot of arena servers(private) put this feature in though.

I think 99-100% of us would love to have this implemented. I think it would definitly increase the interest in arena on this server by a good bit and like you 3vs3. sadly 3v3 is all but dead on this server, BUT if we had this feature then maybe people would go more to making 3v3 teams and showing off their skills. hopefully.
