Okay here's the deal, I talked to the arena guy, he's going to try to fix it soon but he's having some PC problems at the moment.

So. The problem with arena is your WoW crash after the battle, however you do NOT WoW crash in Skirmish, only no screen you either wait 2 minutes to get kicked out or right click on your minimap and "Leave battle".

Here's the thing, we can upgrade to version 3.0, disable rated Arena so only skirmish and/or open Gurubashi arena.

i would say wait, but since we arent going to woltk yet, its just best to get ppl started you know : ) so i say go and then by the time we go to wotlk, it be fixed : )

yea just get it started, that way i can just go download WotLK instead of 2.4.3, i reformatted my machine 2 days ago and i'm waiting for word on when you guys will start :(

I say go ahead and update with some type of FFA arena and skirmish... Since most people will be getting adjusted to Wrath and it will take some time to get everyone upgraded and ready to play on the server, by the time real arenas are ready the players will be ready so we can get a good start on arena.

I also suggest we go ahead with wrath. So when the arena system does come along, players will be adapted to the changes already for a more stable and equal season.

Burning Crusade PvP is 5x better then WoTLK PvP will ever be.

No really, don't go 3.0, stay in 2.4

You could even make changes to classes based on what the community thinks (like "Reduced the cooldown on intercept to 25 seconds)
