Season 36 has come to a close. Congratulations to the teams below that have qualified as our top teams for season 36. Teams qualified and placed based on the criteria you can find here.

Rewards will be given out within ~24 hours of this post, and teams & arena points will be wiped, ushering in the start of season 37! Season 37 will end the start of 9 September 2018.

Note: Many 2v2 teams did not qualify for placement due to the criteria, hence the placements for 2v2 below.

Hi there, just for saying that Swimklou and myself ( paollyhihi) got tied on the 3v solo rating. What is the criteria to determine who is first and second when it happen? ( maybe its an error, i dont know.)

I found this on the last page of the topic about the rules. But can they look the ratio on the 3s solo as they show only the number of the wins? And if so, isn't it logical that someone with 100 less wins, with the same rating, have a better win percentage?

Yes, this is what we based the placements off of. Yeah, absolutely, here's the data we used to calculate this:

Swimklou played 688 games, had 389 wins = 56.5% win ratio.
Paollyhihi played 500 games, had 259 wins = 51.8% win ratio.

Obviously, it was immensely close, but in the result of a tie, this is what we set to be the official way to determine who places for top 3.

Yes, this is what we based the placements off of. Yeah, absolutely, here's the data we used to calculate this:

So can we then assume that what is shown in the Arena Stats screen is based on win ratio if tied with other players ? Im asking because i was also tied with 3 others.

Who cares about titles anyway? Its not something u can brag about or be proud. 3s rating has nothing to do with actual skill, its luck based how mentally handicapped your team is or how bad the comp is. Ive seen players who would not get past 1550+ on any normal pvp server on 2v2 to reach 2000 on 3s here.

But usually that are only certain classes/specs: Enh shamans randomly oneshoting ppl; Demo or SLSL locks for obvious reasons;
But also s3 just favors some classes/specs for example imagine any comp that would not benefit from a frost mage. And does someone have any idea how to make 2s popular again ?
