old.wowhead.com has gotten very weird. It claimed Thori'dal is a missing item... OpenWoW seems to be working well right now.

You didn't read properly.

Also why don't you make a better WoW database, I don't think you can. WoWhead doesn't sucks it's just outdated for TBC.
