Multiboxers never were a common sight, but whenever they are present they are a major issue to those players who encounter them (for both factions), so I don't really understand why this shouldn't be dealt with, regardless how many you see at this very moment.
Doing nothing potentially results in more players who donate for that stuff, just to get the shaft when something gets done about it, so far only Stina would be screwed, from what I can tell.
In the end it ruins the experience for everyone else, you know how much of a shitstorm that guy created last summer.
^this. and i think its getting out of control lately i've been seeing more of them pop up frequently.
and multiboxers are also grouping up with other multiboxers (Mb'ers).
as of now 2 MB'ers are in Passion. farming kills
since when do people have to rely on them to get the most in kills.
in stina's case it wasnt that bad since he actually played both factions there for benefiting all players.
but in this case it just gets plain impossible to even kill them. how can you kill 1 mb'er when you got another Mb'er spam healing him.
this shit needs to stop and i actually vote for making it a bannable offense as of now.

Picture this:
Eye of the storm.
15vs15.
horde vs 2multiboxers and 5 random allies.
does that seem fair to you at all ? no.

when facing 1 multiboxer you actually got a chance of winning by using certain tactic's
but this makes the victory really boring and kills the fun factor for other players.
what if you met these Mb'ers in bg's over and over. it would only take people 3 or 4 bg's like this before they go look for another server.

now lets take the doom scenario here.
what if tother people actually get convinced people based on there experience from meeting them in bg's
to make there own Mb'er
that means that after a while we will get more and more and more Multiboxers.

and this is basically what happened after stina's appearance.

so based on all these facts i think that multiboxers should be forbidden on this server.
before more of them actually start playing here and we'll have a multiboxer fest.

The server is pretty good thought out and has a nice rivalry but bringing in these type of players
will only kill the smolderforge like a disease.
which is already starting to happen.
for a short period of time the server was pretty balanced.
since the increasing appearence of multiboxers people are joining there faction.

could we maybe start a simple poll with making it bannable or not ?
since we can discuss all we want but it wont get rid of the problem that is really there.
i mean take Passion for example.
yes, yes. Ezatt's guild but beside's that.
he has 2 mb'ers in 1 guild, that doesnt sound so bad as long as they pvp.
untill you meet them both at the same time farming kills at the horde graveyard.
and all that the horde players can do is wait for them to leave or log off to another char.
why should they be forced to do this?
this also counts vice versa btw.
its plainly retarded not to mention a certain way of cheating since passion is Honor farming like this.
to my recall i thought honor farming itself was bannable.
ok its a given that they arent making chars to kill them over and over.
but there basically doing the same thing!
Surely you gamemasters must have noticed this in due time.
and i hope you will be able to stop this soon.

Thank you for reading.

I don't see what the big deal about multiboxing is.
You do realise that if you ignore them (running away from their mini-paintrain), you're effectively minimising the enemy team by 2/3's effectiveness. For example, our guild's multiboxer usually just parks themselves at Farm in AB for the whole game. Give up that node and ta da, 10v15 or something similar. See them running towards you? Okay, keep moving. Not that hard.
Sure, if you run into them, you're going to die. But honestly, what do you expect 1v5 or even 3v5.
There's also nothing stopping you from multiboxing yourself.

EXCEPT the fact that the average player can't even afford a $5 dollar donation code.

SO please explain how is he going to afford a pc that is capable of multiboxing?

Its fucking wow, if ya dont have the details maxed out, ya can run in on some 5y old pc x4-5. The players who cant afford 5 bucks are either kids who dont have credit card or live in 3rd world, aka. dont have pay pal.

Sooo, that sure doesnt stop em from multiboxing. Though I bet most wouldnt be able to find the addons :X

The problem has grown more into a usage of multiboxing to really abuse various other parts of the server. There is a tremendous amount of rule breaking occuring in Hyjal that will be addressed soon. Multiboxers are used to kite away NPCs and abuse game mechanics in off-limits areas to illegally farm HKs. This has become a serious problem. Not limited to multiboxers though.
