well ok the pve on retail might be more chalenging (even though i still think its about learning couple of patterns which u use on particular boss every time) but pve on smolderforge is rly no skill boring grinding...(and i wanna highlight that this is not a complain...i dont rly care about pve)

Well I mean SWV is pretty easy I suppose but I've seen lots of groups fail at it because they have no idea what their doing. If I made it very hard, it probably would make the server seem impossible to get gear.

With Scarlet Citadel we're trying to make it very hard, however with the beta test people were able to clear it without any real problems usually.

Yeah well, because bosses doesnt have enough spells, they need more hardcore spells, like which would kill a raid member in 2 mins instantly

It's actually their in-core C++ scripts from Naxx, not mine from ACID.

I have to agree.

PvE on Smold is (except the Citadel) very easy, no real strategy needed, etc. There is nothing but everyone doing what he wants, the end looks like marks.

Too much marks, too low PvP rewards. Too much lags, no solid rated arena match.

If some people would go some instance few times a day, ok. I dont have anything against that, but if there is another group every 30mins in inst, where they almost get 1piece of better eq, its lagging kinda hard, and its impossible to go BGs (2vX as usually), and arenas in lags are.. wait, it isnt arena its Run Kitty Run - who can better run behind pillar, who has more instants to spam in lags, who has better luck, who has even better luck.

You know I know u dont wanna nerf PvE. But think about it, its lagging kinda hard especially in arenas. Everyone spends time in there, and noone goes PvP then.

Id suggest to make a REAL instance where the strategy is needed. Not that group says lets farm SWV lets lag PvP. They wont be able to get badges if they wouldnt know what to do in the inst, if ppl wont think, wont do what they should = wipe. That would maybe a bit nerf the amount of PvErs, but way lesser lags.

There are some PvE lovers, that will in my opinion enjoy this and will do raids too. But the question is if ppl will be ever able to make it to the end, as Ive seen a lot of examples.


If someone fails in SWV, then, excuse me, its a brutal extreme hardcore player. If theres a good tank, then theres almost nothing u need to make it. U can walk on arrows & click on 1 button.

Well interesting discusion is going onhere BUT appart from one GM thinkin that little boost in awarding pvp would help there is still no answer to original sugestion if yes or no and why...

But wouldn't increasing the bosses' difficulty cause people to be raiding them longer and more if there's lower loot?

i think it would perhaps move ppl to BGs...especially if u would increase the number of badges obtaind with it wut is in my opinion kinda more usefull...ppl at least l2p there

Possibly.

Back to the original point of this thread, BG marks still require 10 however you'll now be awarded 5 Badges of Justice, instead of 2.
