trying 3.3.3 servers

I'm gonna go ahead and say to stop the useless arguing because at this point there is no reason for it.

The fact is that sure, the people on that server could have jobs and bought their own gear but paying that much money for not only something on a virtual game, but a fake version of a virtual game? That is pathetic and a waste of money imo. 5 bucks for a full donor char is cheap change compared to what they charge which is why this topic was created. To show how retarded some people on some other servers are and how outrageous the prices are for gear we would give at a fraction of the price.

Lulzi, I don't want to pick you out of the bunch or take sides but stop arguing just to argue. I can't speak on Imperium's behalf, but from my pov he didn't say 75 bucks because it was the exact amount for the donation, looked more like he was making a point. The fact that you insulted him and listed the exact prices just to show him that he is wrong doesn't make you smart, it just makes you a douche.

I hate to break up good, healthy internet arguments but it's annoying to see these all over the forums when I have to waste my time reading it. Please try to keep topics from turning into arguments in the future so I can continue to be lazy and never post anything.

I am a douche, but that part aside, its sad that someone (especially a GM...) would call out another server because they do something differently. Thats the point I was trying to make, though I suppose it didn't come out that way. And FYI, Imperium insulted me first, because I am in fact a donor on Uber.

Personally, I like that they actually require a larger donation to get the best gear in the game, while still keeping it possible to get that gear without donating. Yet here, to be competitive, you HAVE to donate (Before I get flamed for this, whats the highest ranked person that hasn't donated?) if you want the best gear. At least there you can work for it...

I hate to say this, as I love SF, but all their donor gear is earnable (Excluding like 2 items, that in the end wouldn't make the difference in winning/losing) unlike here, where the only donation items are donor-only. Unfair advantage much? :\

Anyway, I said IMO, meaning in my opinion, that it is stupid for people to pay that much and for a server to charge that much. I take it that you're saying that it is sad that I have an opinion, and correct me if I'm wrong on that assumption. Also, don't take the fact that I am a GM into consideration, I am no different from you. If you feel that you are entitled to like something about a server it is perfectly ok for me to not like that very same thing, GM or not.

I can understand where you are coming from with Imperium insulting you, but Imperium did not directly insult you. Nobody knew you were a donator until now.

Lastly, I agree that it is unfair that donators get something other players can not. It is a big reason, however, that so many people donate. If they cannot get something without paying for it it is likely that they will fork over the 5 bucks just to have it to gain that "unfair advantage." Not to mention Henry is already working his ass off and to tell him at this point to change the whole donation system and implement season 4 items would just add more to his plate :P though I may be wrong.

Honestly, I wasn't calling out another server. I was saying wow that is shocking. It just made me kinda laugh inside thinking about sf having 5$ donations. Goodness i didn't think this would cause a topic of flaming. The server is fun and they have great developers. I am not trying to bash any other competition because honestly, they aren't really our competition. They don't produce the same product. For the record, the prices I typed in were estimates because I saw them advertising like 75$ for everything and like 50$ for Shadowmourne or something. The point was to compare the prices SF has, making it a lot more affordable and allowing for more donation. That is all.
