im play on Nostalrius too, and there poison scales too.

it's all private servers. every private server has some bugs. alot of bugs migrate from one server to another coz alot of private servers has the same or almost the same cores and in fact all those cores are based on one same core) nostalrius is vanila, something might be different there or it might be just bugged too. for example in wotlk poisons damage scales with attack power but this doesn't mean that it was same in tbc. even different patches might have some really big difference, different exapnsions is pretty much like another game.
