Nah I don't think that, and I was just bored enough to read this so I decided to reply some stuff.
Back when you played arenas were at least slightly fun and a lot more people played. I miss those days. Never knew what happened inbetween the times when you could get decent games on SF and the time before people rejoined SF when arenas here were pretty much dead. Maybe it had to do with you leaving.

Oh and about AT; IIRC it had custom items which had S3 or S4 stats but other looks like transmog items. Eventho they had the same stats, I don't think retail players wanted to see questionmark-items on an arena server. AT also had donations etc. It wasn't really that great, it just gave a bunch of players a template to play on after tbc ended, just like every other TBC server. I didn't even know AT was around that long, when tbc ended on retail I played on a lot of other servers some of them had 1000-5000 pop and decent arenas but I don't even remember server names.

neilyo wasn't 2.9k season3, wtf you talkin about?! none was 2.9k in tbc, it was impossible. top rates for tbc was somewhere on 2.7k+. and on season3 neilyo was 2.6k on tich (bg9).

I care so much, back when I played arenas on SF I cut myself every time I lost rating.
I've played against almost everybody around and tried to have as much fun as possible, I didn't play for the sake of achieving anything or getting recognition, that's what I successfully did on retail. I have to admit that I underestimated the effort that went into getting R1 on Sf back in the day, +1 rat for beating a 1500 team is crazy playing 2-10 minute games just to get +1 rating was never my thing. The more I think about it, the more respectable your achievement becomes.

Anyways I wish you all the best for the future, you should try to become as successfull at whatever you do next as you were in WoW arenas.

3 players that you consider the best while retail had 10 million players at that time.
