If you are draining a target and they go out of LoS OR run behind you the drain will stop. Definitely a bug. Please fix Henry!

There was a 'fix' for Mind Flay and Drain Life long ago that ruined it, there are threads of this that has been forgotten.

Is there a bug report on the issue tracker for this?

@Genki needs to be made aware of it. If it's not reported we don't memorize every issue that needs to be addressed.

I don't think anyone has reported this to issuetracker, but it has been mentioned at times in the warlock section.

I just did a fast search now but can't find where we discuss it exactly, but I am absolutely sure that we have reported it, however, I found some reports from Lelol in the bug archive.

We in yM or whetever our name was talked about this, why you guys fucked up Warlocks and Shadow Priest but didn't change anything on Hunters or Mages specially even after their superior range issue. Or all spells in general, a hastekin/ ele shammy can throw +2 bolts after you get out of range, I know that FAK also got mad over the Mind Flay 'change'.

Is everything transferred from the old forum?

Thanks, I will make a report on the new bug report section with these threads. We are only viewing the issues tracked on our new tracker since we retired the old forum method a long time ago. You can make reports anonymous, or make an account -- making it slightly easier for users to report issues quicker. In the future, please do that. We do not retroactively remember every bug report ever made.

Should be, yes.

That doesn't make sense from a software perspective. You don't change one thing and have it immediately affect all things of similar nature. There are intense intricate systems behind everything.

Hello, more details of the bug please.
On my current version of the server, I can't reproduce. However, if i cast Siphon Life and instantly go LoS, far way from that target, Siphon Life appears not to deal any damage, but the targets health is ticking down.

My guess would be that you guys fixed channeling spells?

"Channeling spells such as draining spells now properly cancel their channel when a player moves out of range (damage stopped, but channel continued)."
