Hello! Today I was waiting for Alterac Valley all day, because I need a few more marks, I even made a little premade group to join and then crasheshes begun! First was even before AV que to be possible - so like 19:50, than 3 more crashes! At the end GM killed AV npc and spowned WSG one. So how are we supposted to obtain any AV marks when we CANT EVEN JOIN AV? We ware like 5 players waiting all day to spend 1 hour into battleground and you deprived us! I am trully dissapointed! There ware crashes even after AV, so AV is not the reason!

Although i got greatly disappointed about gms during the last few days/weeks, i must say that today whoever it was that had to deal with the situation did a good job. doesnt even matter for your specific problem if av npc was disabled, since you could never finish/could never get a single mark under these circumstances. at least said gm tried to improve our experience.

The problem was not even AV, I have no idea why the GMs despawned that NPC. This whole myth that the server crashes because of AV is not true -- the entire BG system has a bug in it (that we're maybe getting fixed soon, it's very complicated) that can happen at any time. People just believe it related to AV for some reason because the most amount of people are affected at once, but it's not related to AV at all.

I've instructed my GMs not to alter battlegrounds like that again. We did find the location of the crashes: A player was abusing a bugged NPC quest out in Outland and we've disabled it.

We were not depriving you of your marks. Some malicious player was. Our job as a staff is to make your experience on Smolderforge here better, and facility support and resources where needed. My job is to make sure that the server as a whole runs well, remains healthy and is supplied with updates and administrative direction and support. Crashing the server randomly is not something I would do, if that is what you were implying. When we do maintenance, it's scheduled and happens at 04:00am server time when very, very few people are on and only takes a few minutes. Believe me, I am really upset by these crashes that disrupted everyone's gameplay today. I wasn't present at my computer when they happened, so it wasn't addressed quickly enough, and I do apologize for that. But we have resolved that particular issue now.

wasn't online yesterday so not sure what happend but usually the crashes happen around AV time so i guess they assumed it caused it

There were like 6 crashes in a row but it started approx. 10 minutes before Alterac Valley.

So Again there was no AV :X Again to my question - how are we supposted to obtain any AV Marks? How can we make fun when there is just 1 hour for AV and its not playable? Thank you for your solution, didnt helped us at all!
