ag_unitframes

Post by QuantumVoid »

Hey there, is anyone around who is using / has used the "ag_unitframes" addon?
Need a hand figuring some things out (mainly if these things are possible without complementary addons).
In before "lol nub use xperl" --> 1. Fuck off. 2. I generally do not like XPerl. Even though it is a well rounded addon, I'd rather play with just MoveAnything than XPerl.

So, right now it's just three things that come in mind regarding AGUF.

1. Is there a way to change the position of combo points?
2. Is there a way to add NUMERICAL timers on buffs/debuffs on ALL frames?
3. I've set the health/mana text on ALL frames as "absolute". That makes my health text to be for example
"10.7k/10.7k". It also works that way when your target/tot/focus frame is a friendly target. However when said frames are enemy frames, the health text is displayed as a percentage (even though in the config I've set it to "absolute"). The only fix I've been able to come up with is to set all frames as "Custom", which makes the health on everything to be "10695/10695" (yes it fixes the % problem on enemy frames). However that tends to make bars a bit "bulky" and littered by more info than nessecary. Any past experience with this?

I actually cut down on UIs I use. Moveanything and Afflicted are about all I use now, and interuptbar. Having every totem bound plus my normal spells is a must for me. Best of all, applying transparency so you don't even see them at all, but the bindings still work. I use up roughly the same amount of window area as default UI, perhaps a little less due to the size being reduced. Only thing that's annoying, is afflicted in BGs, where you'll see cooldowns of some shmuck that is so far away it doesn't freaking matter.

That is why I generally do not like afflicted. It can be useful in Arena though. However, after a while I think you can estimate cooldowns fairly well.

As far as the rest, I preffer my UI to be minimal as well. Just a few days ago I only used MoveAnything and FocusFrame but tbh I just got bored of the default Blizz frames. And since I do not like XPerl, thought to try AG-UF (Which imo is much, much more stylish. It lacks some of XPerl's customization options though :/ Or I've not fully found out yet - For example combo point position or numerical countdown on buffs/debuffs).

Then why not just use ib?

never bothered with ib tbh, I'm more accustomed to estimate cooldowns by experience (allthough it is of course a less reliable way) - But since I checked this thread just now, just check your "ib guide" thread, in which I've replied in a relative manner.
