Will the past donations to the wrath server transfer over to this one? what about titles?

Someone asked me this earlier and this was my reply:

No, this is a fresh start server. If we started it with arena titles it would be pointless to start at season 1. We are starting fresh to abandon all ties left behind from Pineapple. Unfortunately due to this we are not recognizing any previous recognitions, whether it be donation or arena finalist from the previous SF Wrath.

The way the new donation system works would require me manually entering in a lot of data for you to be able to redeem donations. Also the $20 value is now $6 so it's taken quite a drop.

not sure if you're sarcastic but, i literally poured money into Pineapple SF. not getting it back doesn't bother me though. they were donations for a good cause at that time.

also, this is a completely different server. that's my 2cents, surely it's worth something seeing as I've donated the most to SF.

This is a very important thing to recognize. While it's the same version and approach like the previous server, in the end it's important to realize this is an entirely different server. It is not supposed to have any relation to the previous one at all. If the old Pineapple/SF Wrath was reopened, then, yes, I would maybe look into something like that for the last several months of donors or something, but it's not. It's entirely separate.

What I do believe however is that Henry should think of a limited time offer of some sort for those who have HARD evidence of their donations.

I chuckled to myself on that last part. Not at you, nor in an insulting way. yeah, I think i did about 120~USD as well to Pineapple/SF. Sucks but eh, I don't mind really.
I wonder if Henhouse would look into something like that, and maybe reimburse ONE donor, mainly because Idk, it's a major hassle to even think about it.

I don't think you really understand the meaning of the word donating :<

i like donations and all to support the server and work done by admins ect ect.
The 1 thing I don't really like is someone can buy the end gear with easy money.

Example: Wrathful shoulders were once hard to obtain on Pineapple/SF. Took like 2050 rating if I remember. It will probably be around the same if my intentions are correct. Anyway, it was pretty hard to get and took a lot of work. But why arena now when you can just buy it with an easy obtainable $20 lol..

Simply saying from passed exp with priv servers, donations for the HARD and END tier of gear which gave people easy advantages = led to fall servers / decreased populations.

Just putting in my imput/opionion on passed experiences is all <3 no hard feelings. I just played basically to achieve the 2050 shoulders so people would recognize me. A lot of players want that recognition based on their hard work. + i don't want people saying I donated for my wrathful, kinda lame >.<

You can donate for pretty much BiS PvP gear on AT aswell, and its not gone downhill at all since they introduced full wrathful for donation.

Shoulders in Wrath have NEVER been a "status symbol" and they never will be. If you're really looking for a status symbol, that'd be a tier 2 weapon (shoulders 2k, 277 weapon 2200, same as in retail). The only way to get a t2 weapon is through arena and that is at 2200 rating.

Not to mention, getting 2050 in Pineapple with the quality of players it had was ridiculously easy.
