Like I said before I don't mind a HK cap I am actually looking forward to this so this useless race can finally end. All Ezatt does now is finding as much abusive ways so that he finally get more then me.Haymaker wrote:There is basically one person that is even a problem. Ezatt I'm sure would be fine with an HK cap. On the other hand, we have FAK. All he cares about is his HK's, and will stop at nothing to get a massive advantage over the other side of the bg.

You actually need a game-mechanic limiting a 200% useless "stat" to stop farming HKs? Really? That's messed up.Firstaidkit wrote:Like I said before I don't mind a HK cap I am actually looking forward to this so this useless race can finally end. I sat down and talked with Firstaidkit and Ezatt tonight and we came to a few agreements. I could have demanded a lot right off the bat, however we compromised to try a few things:
- They have both agreed not to graveyard farm anymore and will advocate to their fellow guildmates not to do so. If they do, they will remove them from the guild.
- They both agreed to a 200k HK cap. However I cannot put this cap in without writing code, testing it, applying it to SF, bringing SF down for maintenance, installing updates, restarting SF, etc. Therefore I cba currently and may look into it later.
Firstaitkit has also volunteered to disband his guild. We'll see how things result after these things. If we need to take more drastic measures in the future, we will. But for now let's take small steps.

Wow, must say that I'm surprised. Big up to Fak and Ezatt.

Re: Community Discussion: Maximum HKs
Glad to see they both agreed to that. Also, FAK's initiative surprised me, tbh (Well done FAK, I think I'm taking away the 60IQ part on a previous post). Now, all that remains is that they keep to their word and that they actually manage their guild members. Imo this has resulted to a race between Roflcopters and Passion, and less so between FAK and Ezatt.Henhouse wrote:I sat down and talked with Firstaidkit and Ezatt tonight and we came to a few agreements. Re: Community Discussion: Maximum HKs
I disband my guild yesterday and I am going to join Vitadea's guild. An small guild and I'm trying to keep it small without premades and graveyard farming.

Re: Community Discussion: Maximum HKs
Thank you Firstaidkit for being the mature one in this. And thank you Henhouse for stepping in and putting together rules that benefit everybody on Smolderforge, especially the new players. I hope everyone can take a step back and realise that this is good for the server in the long run. Now let's have some fun BG's. And I have no problem with being killed repeatedly in the field of battle, so I won't be complaining about anybody's guild anymore.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Community Discussion: Maximum HKs
Now all that's left is to ban them.
wait, we're not banning them anymore?
Well...... This is awkward.
On a serious note; Will this help at all? FAK and Ezatt were the worst offendors, but people will still do premades, and GY farming can happen at any time during any BG; either not enough players leads to an overwhelming disadvantage or randoms start grouping together instead of just FAK's and Ezatt's team.
It's almost like the double-drink bug, it was never really abused until someone broadcasted it to the entire server, now everyone did it, and now it had to be banned.
I guess we'll see how bad the damage is in the coming days.
Also, what about Ezatt's guild? I think its only fair if he has to disband too.

Re: Community Discussion: Maximum HKs
I think banning HK's was enough for both guilds, it's just when people try to only focus on HK farming that premades become a real problem.
I'm glad this was sorted out without any drama. Let's have fun now, and try to appreciate the server we all love.
