December 14th, 2011:
  • Guild and arena team loading times have been optimized for faster performance on server start-up. Should be extremely beneficial.
  • Mail system has been re-written to perform better and increase start-up time to no longer load item text.
  • Missing Night Elf Priest racial ability Elune's Grace is now on the trainers.
  • We've modified our character archive-on-delete system to remove you from friend's lists, mail, guilds, groups, etc. Should no longer be seeing <non-existing character> messages.
  • Fixed an exploit where Warlocks were able to cast Hellfire to nullify the "Recently Bandaged" debuff and recast bandages.
  • Fixed the exploit where players could mount with drink/eat buffs.
  • Fixed the bug where the Headless Horseman's Mount would still mount in combat (love how no one reports the beneficial bugs).
  • Warrior talent, Unbridled Wrath has been fixed. It will now properly proc on Heroic Strike and Cleave.
  • The /ginfo command has been fixed and displays accounts properly. However, looks like creation dates never saved correctly so only newly formed guilds will have working creation dates.
  • Several various crash fixes have been applied for stability.

Merry Christmas!



- CLEAR YOUR CACHE FOR THIS UPDATE -
  • We've performed an entire database switch from our old UDB database from when we used to be on MaNGOS to a more up-to-date OregonDB. This restores all gameobjects to the world as well as many more wonderful things. :D. This took many, many, many manual hours of moving things over. pweessse be thankful. :)
  • Quel'Danas has been revamped a bit to look a lot more Blizz-like in cases as well as fixing several quests there. Thanks to Darkgroom for making this prior to joining our team!
  • Combat Dummies will now remove you from combat automatically after 5 seconds of no damage produced on them. Due to this, the Leave Combat NPCs have been removed.
  • Alterac Valley's timer has been fixed as well as added in a new timeslot! There will now be 2 AVs a day, both 1-hour timers. (times are messed up and on EST again, will fix in future update)
  • Hyjal is now available full-time. No longer on a timer.
  • There is now a 1000 limit cap on Badges of Justice.
  • Liron, our world teleporter, has been modified a bit; he now offers teleporting to your trainer within your respected main capitol city (Stormwind / Orgrimmar) to help promote more city use. Additionally, he can teleport you to battlemasters within that same city. The Battlemasters and Mall teleports have been moved into separate tabs to prevent congestion.
  • Due to using cities additionally now to queue, the battlemasters in the city work in our on/off rotation. However, since their NPCs will still be placed there you're now able to turn in "Honor of ________" quests even when a battleground is not in rotation.
  • The custom-feature to return to where you last were after a BG has ended like Wrath is now disabled. Due to the new battlemaster areas, you will now return to the NPC you queued at.
  • Innkeepers in the main districts of Stormwind / Orgrimmar sell the same goods as the ones in the Tanaris mall.
  • More personable emotes have been added to gossip texts on various NPCs.
  • There is now faction-requirements back on the Aldor / Scryer profession NPCs. This going away was due to a mistake.
  • Don't Stop Now├óΓé¼┬ª has been fixed.
  • Disrupt the Greengill Coast has now been fixed and can be picked up from Captain Valindria.
  • Bear Form was taken off the trainers since many clickers complained they did not like miss-clicking it over Dire Bear Form.
  • Due to the database transfer and gameobject's being restored hundreds of quests have been fixed.
  • In latest OregonCore updates many Outland quests have received scripting that required it. Check out the timeline here.
  • The Blood Furnace has received cleanups and scripting.
  • /ginfo is really fixed this time.
  • Shaman trainers now will sell totems in case people cannot find the vendor.
  • Flare will no longer force you to enter combat, just become visible.

December 27th, 2011:
  • Tempest Keep is now open and fully working.
  • Hellfire Ramparts has received cleanups & scripting.
  • The Shattered Halls has received cleanups & scripting.
  • Liron's teleports to CoT & Zul'Aman have been fixed. Accidentally were broken in the last update. Teleport to Tempest Keep added.
  • Arm the Wards! has been fixed after accidentally breaking in the database transfer.
  • The pet mall for Hunter's is now respawned after accidentally not being transferred in the database move.
  • Yesterday's Honorable Kills are now correctly displaying.
  • Possibly 3 crashes have been mitigated.
  • Server start-up time has hopefully had some improvements. Logically the server should boot up within 1 minute now after many optimizations. However, there has been some unexplainable hangs that logically make absolutely no sense (getting stuck loading a table that's empty, etc.) we're trying very hard to resolve this issue.
  • Very minor performance increases.

January 10th, 2012:
  • Sethekk Halls has received scripting and cleanups.
  • A recent problematic crash has hopefully been fixed.
  • Fixed positive spell casting on Cycloned targets. You will now receive the correct "Immune" message and be able to cast the spell, instead of being denied to cast the spell and seeing the message, "You can't do that yet."
  • Weakened Soul and Sweeping Strikes will no longer be lost when switching stances/form.
  • Druid's Enrage armor reduction has been fixed.
  • Totem timers under character portraits have been fixed.
  • Flare, Consecration, etc. will no longer omit Line of Sight.
  • Several updates to threat have been applied. Apparently its calculations have not entirely been correct.
  • Fixed the resurrect-aggro bug.
  • Quest, Veil Skith: Darkstone of Terokk has been fixed.
  • Misc. Outland quests have been scripted from Oregon.

February 1st, 2012:
  • We have performed one of our longest maintenances in history. A very long overdue prune has been performing, removing 10+ month inactive accounts and their characters. About 35-40% of data from characters has now been deleted to stay healthy. The database was dumped into a file, database dropped, created again and has been reimported. We estimate and hope this will solve many performance related problems with server delay and startup times.
  • The battleground queue balancing feature introduced on October 30th has been disabled temporarily. We want to test our theory that this has been causing about 50% of crashes as well as many have requested we remove it since it hinders premade battlegroups.

Happy Valentines Day!
  • According to this and this the guardian summon pet system is now fixed. This includes Water Elemental's, Treeants, snakes from the traps, Warlock pets? etc, etc. I need some testing to explain how extensible this is.
  • Frost Ward & Fire Ward reflect chance has been fixed.
  • Hunter's Expose Weakness will now affect melee attack power.
  • Hopefully the Battleground queue pool crashes have been fixed... (NOPE)
  • Supremus' volcanoes are now properly visible. Thank you to <CutiePie PvE> for reporting.
  • NPCs in the Horde base of the Mount Hyjal raid should no longer turn on players and attack them. Thank you again to <CutiePie PvE> for reporting.

  • Mage's Water Elemental has been fixed, see here.
  • Water Elemental's damage appropriately scales with mage's stats including frost damage.
  • Volcanoes in the Supremus encounter will no longer move around. Thank you to <CutiePie PvE> once again for the heads up.

March 4th, 2012:
  • Halazzi's infite loop which would cause the server to crash has been fixed--Zul'Aman has been reopened.
  • 2 Other frequent crashes we've been tracking over time have hopefully been fixed.
  • Missing gameobjects from the database switch back in December have been restored.
  • Allegiance to the Aldor/Scryers has been fixed after we forgot to move that over as well.

  • Extended maintenance & cleanups performed.
  • Warden is now back on after accidentally being disabled by accidental line of code.
  • Combat Dummies are back and the random NPC attack freezing is gone.
  • Sanctified Seals is now appropriately affecting Seal of the Crusader.
  • Mages' should appropriately start after creation with their Portals and Mana Gem spells.

April 15th, 2012:
  • Extended maintenance & cleanups performed.
  • Title rank system has had its HK requirement amount significantly raised. Please see the new updates here. Please note that you will retain your old title until you gain an honorable kill so the system can recalculate your new one.
  • A retail-like feature has been added to battleground code that prevents players from going too far past the waiting room before the battleground has begun. Eg: escaping the EotS bubble before the game begins. Players will be recalled to the starting location. Watch video demonstration here.
  • Players are now able to donate for select reputations. See here.
  • The Ashtongue Quartermaster has also been spawned outside of Black Temple to better facilitate players.
  • Hyjal spirit protectors will do a much better job at protecting players at graveyards against exploiters/farmers. Please remember, farming Hyjal graveyards is not allowed.
  • The exploit with drinking and casting/stealthing should be fixed.
  • The arena flush timer will no longer be performing during the day. It has been set to go off at ~05:00 server time now.
  • Magic Dust has been removed from all players' inventories.
