If you do decide to ban it I don't think Stina should be counted. He's practically a server celebrity. And he's really nice.

Should ban abusing Shockadins too, since we are on the subject of bans.Xaru wrote:No, don't ban it. You should ban graveyard farming before you ban multiboxing. im agreeing with this on xaru but the larger part of the community will be like :Xaru wrote: If you do decide to ban it I don't think Stina should be counted. He's practically a server celebrity. And he's really nice.
DERP WTF Y U NO BAN STINA FOR MULTIBOXING.
which will just bring more needless discussions.
On topic:
like Cube said some ppl just want to have fun,
and multiboxin wasnt really a problem since it was very rare.
but since stina's appearance others began to follow from a measly tripleboxer to a 30boxer.
and since they're also joining Guilds like passion and roflcopter i feel this has gotten out of hand.
and would be best to say enough is enough and make it a bannable offense.
it sucks for the players who donated them.
but saying no to multiboxing is a big step in the RIGHT direction...

Re: Public Decision: BAN on multiboxing
on topic; don't ban it but rather ban it in PvP. i can actually see some pve progression happening if one person can coordinate five players.
i honestly, in all truth, do not care for either. the reason I could see you banning it now is because it's becoming more popular, and players do not have to sub for 5 different characters.
i'll go ahead and vote yes, because well it's pretty hard to limit it.

Re: Public Decision: BAN on multiboxing
Just ban it, no quarter given.
It does more harm, than it does any good, regardless how you can deal with them, in the end it pisses those off who actually play a huge part in keeping the population high.
And yes, no exceptions, what a waste of time to implement random crap rules, to please the happy tree friends... my ass.

Re: Public Decision: BAN on multiboxing
By that logic we can ban all druids, warrs and rogues too, cuz it takes so much skill to play them. Oh almost forgot, abuserdins and spriests are fucking easy too...awwVrapche wrote:It is not fun when someone always kill u without using any skill... multyboxing is not skill, its personal fun and i call it cheat... Player with 5 chars can 1hit kill u ( to be correct - 5 perfect same timed hits). It is annoying when u need to resurrect all over again from that kind of death, and to put all over again potions, buffs and whatever u use to gain a little bit advantage in BG. I can imagine how spell casters feel when they need also to sit down in bg and w8 for mana... Rogues can only hide, rest cant... So it's simple not fair play in bg, where 1 person with 5 characters can alone act as healer, defender, and offence...
Shit, only 6 mentally rejected tards, JOIN OUR RANKS.

Re: Public Decision: BAN on multiboxing
I like the fact that most naysayers doesn't really support multiboxing, but are generally just being dumb bringing forth arguments like "it's not that big of a problem", "you could do it on retail" and all the other well thought out, valid bullshit they can come up with. My new personal favorite have to be "don't ban Stina because he's a celeb". However, there are rarely any concrete arguments that speaks for multiboxing, and most people do recognize it as a problem, no matter how minor it is. This is however a problem that can be made to go away, and with a fairly simple procedure I might add.
The poll is fairly simple, it's plainly "yes, ban it", or "no, don't ban it". It's not "yes, ban it", or "no, I have this better solution that I'm gonna explain here, which is really what I'm voting for, even though I didn't because I'm retarded."
Black and white, not black and whatever irrelevant bullshit you can come up with.
This is just getting more and more stupid.
