first state what the problem is exactly. like is it a graphic problem? or just internet problems? could have corrupted files during the download of the tbc files.

assuming it's graphic problems, later made processors are known to have issues with the TBC game.

Could be that TBC is very poorly optimized for laptops compared to Wrath

Well, I still think there should be a way around it, I mean, I do occasionally play TBC on a laptop, but have little to no problems with it.

I used to screen freeze and lag so bad I could barely play. I found the affinity didn't help me, but it might help you, try that (located under Screen Freeze forum post, for instructions) If that doesn't work, you might try to game video settings. I've found reducing all video settings, including screen resolution to minimal settings (1024x768 for resolution) cleared up just about all my lag issues.

Before someone says a remark regarding the netbook I was using, that thing's dead... (Damn Hitachi hard drives) I'm using a desktop with an i7 3.5GHz 8gig DDR3 RAM, and using the methods I listed cleared it all up. I hope that helps with your problem.

The Resolution doesnt work, Its to do with the AA, and Render distance, and it has nothing to do with your CPU or GPU or ramm, Is all do to with the render quality of TBC which to say the least is shit, In Wrath they did a full GFX update on the entire game, So it could be optimised by laptops or old computers like my own, And yes i get screen freezes, on : 256meg 6200Nvid gfx card, 3ghz Hyperthreading CPU(Basically a 3GHZ overclocked Dualcore), 2gigs of ramm, Yes my pc sucks, But i still run wow on Full and average 60 FPS, You might want to update your GFX drivers, and such,As you can somtimes fix the rendering in TBC with new patches of the GFX, Although that will not fix it, well not all the time, it has done for me so try updating your drivers for your GFX card, your Direct X aswell, make sure your on the latest of both, And you should be able to run wow on full with rarely any screen freezes...Yes i am a computer geek.

I dont expect this to help everyone, This is just what fixed it for me and shit..

Essentially we accidentally made it so BGs/Instances forgot how to count. That's why the buffs never went away and you could never do anything timed, or calculated.

So basically you set there nationality to Iran?
LOL!
