Nice! Reminded me of the old Drakedog videos.
Don't mind Evilcasts, he's jealous.

Watched it to the end, so guess its not that bad but didnt see anything amazing either. No engi stuff was nice to see but barely 1vsx, specially in bgs...dats what they are there for. Besides that, you out geared em all and Evilcasts got a point, most of the guys sucked hard.

Well you beat panderen that deserves some credit hes one of the "smarter" warriors on this server
Re: Dazbog destruction warlock video
I just watched it and I'll have to say that I lean towards what Seret said. If you look back on the more popular bg movies from TBC (or any expansion for that matter) the opponents are in most cases way below the authors skill level, and on top of that undergeared. And this is fine, I don't really expect anything else from these kind of movies. What makes them entertaining is that even though the author is more skilled and geared than his opponents, he's always the underdog. He starts a fight with low hp, abilities on cd or fights against multiple opponents. And considering the bgs here on Smolder it's not impossible to find these fights, quite far from it. Especially with donation gear against starter geared players.
If you look at, for example Cer, Noone, Razghul or Healingproof they pull some crazy stunts in their movies. But have a look at their opponents and you'll see that they're way below said players. Shatters taking them down to 50% hp and below, 60% of the hp gone in a fury+coil, and on top of this they're getting outplayed by the author. But the movies are still entertaining, at least imo.
Another thing you can add is duels against better opponents. Most of the time these are entertaining as well, even though in most cases the balance is awful. But again, if you're on the shitty end of the stick here it may be even more interesting to watch. Personally I prefer a series of duels against the same opponent, say best of 5 or at least where a win:loss ratio is presented.
And ofc if you have any decent arena footage you can always add that to the pile. But not everyone plays arena around here, and I'm not blaming them.
So my advice to you is that if you're gonna go for another movie, go on suicide missions and record it. Because every now and again you're the one who walks out of the fight alive even though you were the underdog. Spice the movie up with some variation. For example, start off with some wsg footage, follow that up with some duels, continue with some ab, mix it up with duels again and wrap things up with eots. As said, just an example but I guess you get the point.
But kudos for making the movie, and even more so for sharing it with us. Keep at it, and hopefully the sequel will be better.
Regards, Cube.

"bad opponents!!!" How exactly do you think someone can 1vX vs GOOD opponents? If they get 1vX'd by a destro lock theyre not very good.

Indeed. But we're not talking 1vX, we're talking mostly 1v1.Deems wrote:"bad opponents!!!" How exactly do you think someone can 1vX vs GOOD opponents? If they get 1vX'd by a destro lock theyre not very good.
