August 28th, 2011:
  • Due to popular request, Alterac Valley now only has one rotation for 1-hour a day. You can view the updated battleground time sheet here.
  • Hyjal now activates every other hour, down from once per 3 hours.
  • You can now cash in Arena Points for Honor Points, very much like the system we implemented a while back for Badges to Honor.
  • You're now able to cash in your AV marks of honor for honor. Due to this, the Call to Arms quest for AV now has its rewards the same as other battlegrounds.

August 30th, 2011:
  • Indoor dismounting is re-enabled as cat-form now properly works indoors.
  • Sweeping Strikes will no longer fade when switching stances. It will also perform proper damage on different targets instead of multiplying.
  • Erratic Sentries now should not despawn when casting the converting spell on them for the quest Further Conversions.
  • Arm the Wards! Now is properly requiring players to be near a ward to cast.

September 4th, 2011:
  • Blackout should now be fully working correctly and not backfire on the caster.
  • Inner Fire is now fixed and doesn't decrease in stack when the attack is absorbed.
  • Frost Warding will now correctly cause Frost Ward to have a chance to reflect frost spells.
  • Molten Shields will now correctly cause Fire Ward to have a chance to reflect fire spells.
  • Exploiting Combustion by resetting talents is no longer possible.
  • Ritual of Souls should now work correctly.
  • Erratic Sentry will no longer become a companion after converting them.
  • Spirit of Redemption should hopefully no longer have a rare chance to cause players to become invulnerable.

September 6th, 2011:
  • Shifting Naaru Sliver will now apply its buff on the owner of the item when it's used and is standing near the object.
  • Travel form now has the correct model and isn't as big (was a bigger version).
  • The Paladin talent, Blessed Life has been fixed and is working correctly.
  • The Paladin talent, Spiritual Attunement will now give you mana equal to 10% of the healing you receive from a friendly target.
  • Ice Barrier will now absorb Spell Value + 80% of your bonus spell damage, instead of 10%.

October 2nd, 2011:
  • Warden has now been implemented and will be detected and disconnecting players using detected 3rd-party hacking/injecting programs. In the future we will be giving the OK to Warden to suspend player accounts. Everyone who hacks will be recorded even if we're only issuing kicks currently. Pro tip: Don't use hacks.
  • The suspension expiration bug has now been fixed. If you're suspended you will be able to re-access your account without any problems.
  • The WHO search now is a bit more blizz-like and has a cooldown. However, unlike retail's of ~3 seconds, ours is only 1 second. This is to patch a possible performance exploit if it was spammed.
  • Ice Barrier will now correctly absorb 30% of the spell damage bonus instead of 80%.
  • Misc. performance exploits patched.

October 15th, 2011:
  • Hallow's End has been updated for this year! Headless Horseman is now back and scripted. There's also lots more objects in the mall to really make it feel spooky this year! All brooms have been wiped since last year's were free and last year's event accidentally going live this afternoon...
  • Spam-filter chat system has been implemented. More restrictions have been added for players repeating messages too often (1 ZuLL WiSs mE) as well as using too many capitals in over a message greater than 80 characters in length.
  • The muted time for speaking too much has been lowered from 2 minutes to 20 seconds.
  • Double POM-Pyro exploit is now fixed.

October 30th, 2011:
  • An experimental battleground balancing system has been implemented. This system will try to only invite equal amounts of players per battleground. eg: 12 Alliance queued and 15 queued for AB. Only 12 characters per faction will be invited to enter the BG.
  • Aftermath will now no longer proc on the caster.
  • The Combat Dummies are now immune to cycloning. (You can thank the druid that abused this to piss people off.)
  • The chat flood settings have been made a little less strict. You shouldn't get muted as often.
  • The no-character visual is looking a bit festive.

November 13th, 2011:
  • Battlegrounds and arenas have undergone many code cleanups and changes. In addition the 2-group system like on retail has now been implemented.
  • New collision detection algorithms have been added. So players theoretically should no longer fall under the world on spells such as charge/blink/shadowstep etc.
  • Warden now detects WPE Pro and another packet-editing program.
  • Aftermath should be really fixed this time.
  • Battleground marks that are sent via mail when you hit the 100 cap should only last the proper 24 hours now, not 30 days.
  • Extraction of player's skills out of data blob. See Oregon commit here.
  • Spells such as Prayer of Healing, Tranquility and other buffs that has a "Do this effect to nearby party members within whatever yards" to not check LoS.
  • Improved Mana Gems are fixed.
  • Spellstealing with single or multi-buff spells should be working... well. I forget what was really wrong with it to begin with.
  • Misc. quests have been fixed.
  • Misc. OregonCore updates.
  • Firstaidkit becomes a living, breathing, walking guinea pig. Every packet sent to and from his character will be logged and recorded. In compliance with this, Firstaidkit will be recording the times of when he receives screenfreezes and we will be comparing then with the times in our logs. This might hopefully allow us to find, and narrow down where screenfreezes are coming from, and possible aid in the fixing of them.

November 26th, 2011:
  • Multithreading has been turned on for our maps system. We should see significant improvement in how the core is performing when there is many people in one location. Estimated 50% performance increase. We will begin to multithread more aspects of the server soon.
  • The Sunwell vendor in the donor mall has had several missing cloaks, rings, and hands added. In addition many price changes have been performed.
  • A new section of the donor page has been added. Due to popular request, players are now able to donate for Sunwell weapons instead of farming honor points. This can be found here.
  • Winter's Veil has been finished and is now ready! The event will begin on December 11th!
  • The "Unknown" problem in people's friends/ignore list should be gone now.
  • Soul Shards now sell from the Warlock Trainer since people seem to have trouble sending 1 minute finding them.
  • It's no longer possible to buy the vanity items with honor points. Tabards, TCG items, etc.
  • Weapon Trainer has been condensed into one NPC to look nicer. Some other NPCs moved around like the stable master.
  • A crash fix with the Zangarmash ourdoor PvP towers has been applied.
  • Misc. people renamed in the mall. Teleporter, barber, etc.
  • In memoriam of my rabbit, Lilly who passed away after 7 years I've added her to the game. You might find here around the mall... looking for some grass to nibble on :S. She was with me the whole way... :'(
  • It is no longer possible to purchase Thori'dal for badges from the donor mall.
