Let's face it, the only hard part about AQ40 was Twins and to some extent c'thun (post-nerf). Before those 2 bosses Aq40 was relatively easy compared to how frustrating some of the BWL bosses were when it was top content.

... I don't even know how to respond to this. The word on the street is that all things considered, AQ40 in a mix of tier 1 and 2 (What you would have at the time) at level 60, with level 60 talents, is the single hardest thing Blizzard has evar released compared to every other instance, assuming you were at the appropriate level wearing the appropriate gear. And by "evar released" I don't mean as of TBC, I mean I heard that from numerous people about a month ago.

By 'word on the street' I take it you mean you didn't do BWL or AQ40 when they were top content.

You wouldn't be doing Aq40 in a mix of T1 and T2 if your guild existed a fair amount of time before it was released, so to a full T2 raid in comparison to BWL in T1 it was much more mentally forgiving. The first bosses of BWL were the guild breakers, Razorgore pushing your tanks harder than any previous boss, then going straight into Vaelstrasz for a gear check, and then the appropriately named 'Depression room'. Granted the Drake bosses were easier on your raid, but then you'd have Chrom and of course Neffy. I would MUCH rather do Aq40 again than BWL in progress appropriate gear.

As for AQ40 being the hardest thing Blizzard has ever released, Naxx and Sunwell says hi.

Anyone forgot about the topic? Gah... It's not a contest about which raid was harder, imo aq40 was a Hard raid. My guild never got into naxx and sure that was dissapointing. But honestly i didn't think bwl was such a Hard raid. As long as you had foxused ppl and minimal slackers it wasn't that hard, ofc imo. Everyone can think differently and if you wan't to do that, please start a new thread since this is for OUR aq40 progress.
