Shadow form bug
Shadow form bug
Shadow form bug on TBC server.
It's a spell bug. It happened to me like 3-4 times already.
Basicaly shadowform becomes unusable, like its on an infinite cooldown.
Like you can see on the screenshot, OmniCC addon isn't showing any cooldown on shadow form, yet the button is grey and it says "Spell is not ready yet". This doesnt go away when you die.. It only stops when you exit BG or relog (when it happens outside BG). Needless to say this is very crippling for a SP and if it happens in arena it would no doubt make you lose the match.
edit: I forgot to mention this, but a similar thing sometimes happens with animal forms on druid.
You become stuck in one form and cant shift to others. it says "You are in shapeshift form" when you try. But with druid this can be easily solved by right-clicking the animal form "buff" in the upper right corner. that will make you exit to caster form and you can shift normally again. Unfortunately that's not an option for the priest...

Re: Shadow form bug
It's on Wrath too, and it seems to come from spamming it (but not always)..
I haven't really tracked the fully reason down, but it hasn't happened lately because I've stopped spamming it.

Hmm, yes on druid it could be from spamming indeed... becos on feral you sometimes keep shifting like crazy. But not on priest. You dont press it that often. And when i made this screenshot, i got the bug instantly when i spawned at the BG.Raven wrote:It's on Wrath too, and it seems to come from spamming it (but not always)..

Re: Shadow form bug
By "Spamming" I mean as simple as double tapp/click on the spell.
First click takes you out of shadowform, the second was suppose to take you back in it again, but bugs up.
But not always happening as said

Re: Shadow form bug
I've had a long break from WoW and after returning now i see this is still not fixed.
I don't think i'd call double-tapping something "spamming" but that's besides the point.
Spamming or not this is not supposed to happen. It's a bug. And really annoying one.

Re: Shadow form bug
Relog to fix it.
And for the people that think you cannot relog inside a bg you are wrong. You can actually and you will stay in the bg and you will not get deserter.
But if you just click shadowform only once then this will not happen!

I'm not a clicker just saying it for the clickers. The only things I click are my buffs except for Fear Ward and Shadowform.Peekaboo wrote:PssssssstFirstaidkit wrote:

Re: Shadow form bug
It has a 1.5 second cooldown on the tooltip, which is the same time as the gcd, so if you click it on gcd it bugs out and stays "not ready".
I like turtles because they're so chill. They don't hurt anyone. They're just like, "Hey man, I want to swim, and maybe eat some lettuce. But I'm gonna take my time getting there, I'm not in a rush. Because I'm a turtle."
