Yeah, I am still hoping but I don't have high expectations. Henhouse needs to come up with some master plan to make people play 3s

There's hardly anyone doing 2s..:P Getting ppl to do 3s would be impossible atm. The majority of players here spend their time in Hyjal, doing coustom instances or in skirmishes. If Hen closed Hyjal, we'd prob see a little more activity in arena, but that's not gna happen. Since there's so many players in Hyjal, closing it to help the few that are doing arena doesn't rly seem right if u see it from their point if view. Personally, I don't see any way to get ppl do to more arena, cuz if ppl don't enjoy it, they won't do it. Maybe making it possible to earn other things than a title or s3 would increase the activity.. Idk.

And I've thought about this many times and we often talk about it. The only way we would really be able to promote arena would be making more things require arena points and rating. We recently removed shoulders and make them points and rating only -- we started getting ticket after ticket of people complaining that the "shoulders were gone" and had no idea what to do then, so we just added them back.

The only really smart thing to add for a lot of rating would be Season 4, but we would see a tremendous growth in win-traders(which we have seen in the past when we do stuff like this) and also numerous complaints from players about it just being too hard to beat the already top-S4 wearing teams and ask us to lower the rating requirements of the items.

So we get caught in a loophole. Not to mention do I even want to make S4 available? It is our ONLY source of income to keep the server up, if people start exploiting the gear without me noticing we could start losing a lot of money and cause bad problems on my end.
