What is the bug?
Dying while the spell is active, without it being dispelled. Plus the spell goes on cooldown.
What kind of bug is it? (Quest, Class, Spell, PvE)

How can you reproduce it?
I'm not sure but having someone to kill you and casting it 1 second before dying might do it.

I'm not supposed to die.

It happened two times for one night to me and I've noticed it happens if I cast the spell 1 second before I die. IIRC there was some similar issue with Iceblock and Divine Shield before, but I thought it got fixed. Now it's a bit different.

It is not a bug, it is the small time it takes for the server to update and that's what causes this problem.
When a spell is already in the air and heading for you it will depend on when you use the bubble in terms of distance to your enemy.

For example if a Pyroblast is cast 36 yards away, you will have almost 1 second on you before the spell hits you. But if you're closer and use bubble while the spell is "in the air" the spell hit will happen before the bubble immunity has updated. Thus the result is that the spell hits, your CD is used but the immunity effect comes to late. This occurs in all expansions from Vanilla to Cataclysm.

keeps happening to me on my mage, died like 4 times in iceblock. are you sure it's working as intended? that never happend before, never seen it happen on any server in any expansion. used to be just fine here as well.

I also experienced this, it doesn't happen that often ( it shouldnt happen at all ) but i have killed ppl that were with active iceblock and palas with ds...it was weird af. THo i think it has something to do with the slight delay the dev implemented

Scenario before: You pressed Icebock and died, you had CD on Iceblock / Bubble but were dead. Since I allowed to apply auras to dead targets you will get the aura now (which is obviously not correct). But since it's only visual I will take a look at it sometime.

Fixed.
