Well, I think everyone noticed that resistance is too high since few months ago. If you've played rogue in arenas or bgs you would see how shiv resistance is very often even when the opponent has 0 resistance. For example against LD if you play rogue, lock should be around 80 resistance maximum which is not that much and you would resist around 4/10 poison.
Moreover, I have played with lock and I've also noticed that pet resists A LOT, it's really really often to resist the Spell Lock from pet.
I hope you can fix it (I've talked with some players who played retail and they have realised).
Thanks

Re: Resistance is too high
Just some basics. Wound Poison is a Binary Spell (http://www.wowwiki.com/Binary_spell).
Rogue: 0% SpellHit, 0 SpellPen
Warlock with SL/SL and Druid Buff: 89 Nature Resistance, that's 19% chance to resist a nature binary spell. (89 * (15 / level))
SpellHit, we roll a dice to 100. 1-4 will result in a resist and 5-100 in a hit.
Roll dice. If hit go to resistance.
Resistance, we roll a dice to 100. 1-19 will result in a resist and 20-100 in a hit.
Roll dice. If hit go to 1% TBC Resist.
1% TBC Resist, we roll a dice to 100. 1 will result in a resist and 2-100 in a hit.
Roll dice. If hit the spell did hit.
That's mainly how spell hit system is done and correct.
I'll close this because you did not post any research you did. From my POV it's fine.
