Who asked you? The weapons that come as rewards are cool as fuck and some ppl have them without donating.

If you are lucky enough you might have some high rank GM complete the quest for you.
Or just donate for it.
Or wait for Henry to implement donor weapon vendor :P

I had a convo with Henry, he fixed 2 of the previous quests and said that he will fix the rest of them on next restart..

Fixed.
http://www.wowhead.com/npc=20563 now has it's correct gossip and text.
