hey guys,
i hope i'm not the only one who knows about that... Rage is very broken here

There was some Formula i searched for in vanilla and tbc and finally find it and test it (on normal mobs it works) on resil equipped opponent's u do gain same rage like on dummys and we know that this dummys are fucking bugged with ragegeneration at all.

Maybe fix it pls?

Rage can be generated by the following methods:
Being Hit

Being hit by a physical attack generates rage based on damage taken.
Attacks that are blocked/parried/dodged also generate rage.
The algorithm for rage gained from damage taken is:
Enemy Level * 1.5 = 1 Rage
For example, at level 60 it takes 90 damage to generate 1 rage versus a level 60 opponent, while it takes 45 damage to generate 1 rage versus a level 30 opponent.

Dealing Melee Damage to Enemies

The formula for rage gained from damage dealt is:
Current Level * 0.5 = 1 Rage
For example, at level 60 it takes 30 damage to generate 1 rage.

Exsurgo has spoken about this several times:

I'm quite sure those formulas concern only pre-tbc. For two reasons. First, levels being used in examples are 60, pre-tbc cap, and secondy the description for Anger Management (Arms talent) is not what it is in tbc.
Pre-TBC wrote:Anger Management (Arms) which makes you lose rage 30% slower (1 point, passive).
TBC wrote:You gain 1 Rage every 3 seconds while in combat.

And here's the test. With correct formulae.

So i tested some serv's and i can say SF got less Rage them every other server, so what's the problem here if everything is RIGHT?

Because no other server reviewed the calculations internally, did the math, and corrected them. Keep in mind private servers re-did all that. People have been playing them for 6 years and most likely not noticing the difference. So for us, it looks odd.

There's been debates whether or not we should try to achieve pure blizz-like due to the way the community is used to such prolonged bugs -_-.

There are simply too much complaints about the same thing, even people that don't even have a warrior class, say that warrior rage is a bit broken. It's not unplayable, definitely, but....

Well you mentioned not unplayable, in pvp maybe but try to tank as a warr on any instance, you will get minimal rage-no threat and its very hard to keep aggro.
