The Forging of Quel'Serrar

So for about a year i've had this quest ( http://www.wowwiki.com/Quest:The_Forgin ... ar_%282%29 )
Never been able to complete it since when you put the http://www.wowwiki.com/Unfired_Ancient_Blade Into Onny you can not retreive it. Kinda makes the whole farming of the item pointless since you cant complete the quest.
I understand its donateable but not obtainable in game? Could i have this item added to me in game Thanks in advance - Outskilled
