okay first of all i just logged in and it said "the forum u tried to enter doesnt exist" wich is legit as fk cuz u guys dont even care about the bugs here and u fix like 0,000000000000000000000000000001% of the smolder bugs.

bit of rage here but well, since this stuff is ridiculous as hell and admin puts the questitem on donation list instead of doing a hotfix you guys should understand that.


so, the quest is bugged because its not a simple script, definetly a script problem imo.

srsly ppl farm the questitem and then get told its bugged and they should donate for the sword thats the most stupid thing i ever saw on any realm ive been to and ive been to a lot after wotlk patch on retail.

just fix the quest or give out the questitem to the people who actually farmed the questitem instead of putting it for donation maybe? kthxbb.

You're missing the point of offering that item. Our time, and resources are better spent elsewhere fixing PvP bugs (which the COMMUNITY voted on being #1 important), web-developing (I have been working with Filip again on updates), support, tickets, etc., NOT classic-quests/raid content. The community has clearly shown the greater interest is in the features this server was founded for, not transmog-side quests. In order to fix that quest entirely, I would need to take the time to script and completely fix it, and what is the benefit? Nothing. A few players MAY down Onyxia in order to do it, but it's not as likely.

I will continue to be bugged, as I clearly was if I do not entirely fix it, so the better solution is to simply offer it as a donation. The player gets the item they wanted, it's now obtainable, and our time is spared allowing us to put it somewhere more important. It's a much easier route and more people are happy.


Aren't you also the same person who is arguing how Ruuren was a "top supporter" of this server, and now you're bitching over a $5 item?

henhouse, u just made me laugh hard. thanks. well, ur saying ur focusing at pvp bugs, i admit that there are so many bugs so this takes much time, but then u say fixing it would be so difficult and it would be no use, but putting it on donation is. ur so right because fixing it takes 5 minutes and puttin it on donation takes less time and gives money. i clearly get your point. you shouldnt take 5 minutes time to fix bugs, giving non-donors the opportunity to get nice transmog items, but instead making rich people buy stuff.

That is not a fix, that is a terrible work-around attempt to "fix" something you can't fix by actual program script fixing.
