Feedback Bugged?

So the human priest racial skill 'Feedback' seems to work almost perfectly, only when i vampiric embrace a target and use Feedback it doesnt give any heals, but its shadow dmg so why doesnt it apply like the other shadow spells?

As far as I know blackout and vampiric embrace healing should only proc of specific shadow damage schools. Mana burn, timbals, feedback etc are not included in the main shadow damage spell category (even though they do shadow damage).
