the q "Freedom for all creatures" bugged

i can take the q normally but when i open the cage, the captured sprite darters stay in and the door closes after some seconds.. normally i should have to escort at least 6 captured sprite darters and protect them from the grimtotem npcs.. but like this i can´t complite the q and we aren´t able to get the cool and nice pet called "The baby sprite darter" I hope it isn´t too much trouble to fix that q and it would be nice if u could do it soon = P (i added also a screenshot so u can see the opened cage and the darters in there doing nothing xD)
