Inner fire still depletes even if you have a power word shield on you or something similar and someone melees you, which it shouldn't.

Okay. Do you know if there are any other auras that shouldn't proc if damage is absorbed? Prayer of Mending perhaps?

Prayer of mending shouldn't trigger if you're absorbing damage.
