WTB Darkgroom fix for this core.

My class is unplayable if I get stunned on my own buffs.. It procced off Touch of Weakness again..

Can you confirm Darkgroom's fix was working the way Blackout SHOULD, or were the other problems? Because we may as well look into the bug as a whole if Darkgroom's was never complete.

Darkgroom's only mistake was that Blackout also procced on Smite (Smite = Holy) at least people reported that I never saw it happen too. For the rest it was fine I guess and I don't think this is a major issue since you won't be using smite as Shadow anyways and it's a waste to take blackout as Discipline Priest IMO.

FIx is already in, it's not Darkgroom's this time. Hufsa wrote one that only had to be applied into the database. May work better and not proc on Smite, but of course someone would need to test that.

I am not sure blackout is working 100% as it did on retail. Through some testing I have noticed that blackout can proc of periodic dot damage ticks.

If you go to the wowiki page on blackout it reads:

"It did not trigger off spell ticks (such as each tick of Shadow Word: Pain), only at the initial hit of the spell"

I also never remember getting blackout stunned while dots were ticking but no new spells were being cast.
If this happened then players could for example get blackout stunned on the other side of a pillar due to dot damage and I never remember this happening.

You are right on that but I did not see it proc of my dot ticks yet.. I'll do some more testing when I get home.

It should only proc of initial dmg for example when you cast Mind Blast, Mind Flay, Shadow Word: Death, Shadowguard, Touch of Weakness or refresh one of your DoTs like Vampire Touch, Shadow Word: Pain or Devouring Plague. It should NOT proc of the DoT ticks.

Hmm, if it shouldn't proc from DOT's I could just write a new fix. Cause now it does.
