What is the bug? Blessing of Freedom not working on frostbolts slow, if it's used while still in the air.

Is it a spell or database issue? (database relates to any NPC, quest or item) Spell

Please describe, in detail what is suppose to occur when this bug happens: If the paladin uses his BoF while the frostbolt is still in the air, the slow effect is applied, even though BoF is active.

Hmm I wonder if Spell Reflect is having the same error, because on retail if you SR something while it's in the air it should still get reflected; although since this error is occurring with BoF it's probably the same with SR. :(

yeah it gets annoying cause now you cant even get a SR on a frostbolt in air nor a freedom

I promise I will look into this. I will warn you that it is probably not a database or spell issue, but one involving the core code and as such will not be an overnight fix.

Can you give me any info on what the cut off point between the BOF activation and the slow landing leads to a slow effect? It may well be the sum of the client-server communication. 90ms or so. Also has it only happened since the core update?

I believe it is something to do with the communication, something to do with the timing being off, someone told me that months ago when it first happened. I don't quite remember when it first started happening. The cut off point is as soon as the frostbolt is casted to the point where it hits me, if I use blessing of freedom before it's on me then BOF will not take effect. Thanks for looking into it, much love.

I believe the problem is that currently, checks for spell immunities are done on successful spell cast, not on spell land/damage.

This and the spell reflect seduction should be fixed shortly, thanks for the reports.
