Dead mage casting?

It's not possible to cast Scorch while dead. But are you sure he didn't use a Soulstone? Since you can buy them from vendors here there's quite a lot of people using them in BGs.

No, I needed to run out because he have been casting and i cant do him anything coz he was dead... and it was late game 2/2 fo flags he cant have SS because i killed him for several times before.

this bug has occured to me on my mage. My occurence had a relation to my connectio where i had died when i was lagging yet was able to cast and CC and do dmg during my "ghost phase" which lasted a few seconds.
