Holy dmg is resistable!!! bug!
Almost 90% of my damage is holy damage- and i often get resisted! HOLY DMG IS NOT RESISTABLE AT ALL! And many times my judgement/eye for an eye/shock/and more are getting resisted! Please fix that- it is majour problem. Thanks. GL HF!

Holy spells can be resisted. Not through spell resistance, but through hit. In TBC you can't get 100% hit chance no matter how much hit you have, the target will always have a 1% chance to resist all spells, including holy. On top of this there are talents that increases the chance to resist spells, and you can't counter these with hit either. For example a Rogue with 2/2 in Heightened Senses receive an extra 4% chance to resist spells, giving the Rogue a 5% chance to resist. And you can't counter this with hit at all.
There have been suspicions that hit is bugged here though, but afaik this hasn't been confirmed more than people saying that their spells get resisted a lot. But all in all every spell and school of magic can be resisted (even holy) since spell "misses" register as resists in TBC. Hit wasn't revamped until WotLK where you can get a 100% hit chance, and spell misses actually register as a miss rather than a resist.

gotta correct u there, the rogue talent can be countered by hit, thats why I run 100 hit on my mage for example, same with NE racial, all ally druids for example have 6% chance to resist stuff thats why you need more hit. and I'm not completely sure about the 1% thing you said, but anyway holy spells are still bugged, for example a felhunter must not reduce holy damage, and it does, it also resists holy damage way too often, its not 1%... and I think it should even be 0.

Spell miss chance definitely was capped at 1% before Wotlk.

You're partially right. Resisting holy damage shouldn't be possible, but even pets still regain their 1% miss chance (which registers as a "resist" in TBC). But as I also said, I'm not quite sure if hit and miss chances are working as they're supposed to around here. There have been quite a discussion about it, and sometimes it's just silly how many spells gets resisted. The part about talents and racials being countered by stacking more hit I'm not so sure about anymore. I know this can be countered with hit in WotLK and Cata, but afaik it couldn't in TBC. But as said, I could be wrong about this.

You are wrong, thats pretty basic stuff.. if it wasnt that every mage would run 60 hit lol, talking about the spell hit against talents, etc. And I dont know if hit is bugged or not, from my experiance I think it isn't. And the holy bug is another thing, even if hit is bugged overall still holy dmg is bugged.

That can be tested if I spec 2 points in arcane focus and I have 7% hit, that makes 11% and I can cast 1 000 000 arcane spells without resisting against a NE rogue with the talent specced. You can test it yourself, I'm sure about it.

So even when you have no gear or what ever you should always have 1% chance to resist? so it can never be 0%?
