Melee dmg.

What is the bug?
Melee damage of rogue and warr

Is it a spell or database issue? (database relates to any NPC, quest or item)
database?

How can you reproduce it?
make a rogue.
make a war.
Enjoy.

Please describe, in detail what is suppose to occur when this bug happens:
rogues hit too low.

while warr's hit too high. i mean cmon 6.1k mortal strike on leather ?
Please describe, in detail what happens when it bugs up, and how it's malfunctioning:
well the melee dmg swings alot . on one hand im doing a 1.5k ghostly strike for example.
and on the other hand im doing a 700 ghostly strike on cloth. and on the SAME char.
while like i mention before. warr's can do a 6.1k mortal strike with a bit of luck but still
this shouldnt be possible?

i could be wrong here , but. it can never hurt to check right?

LOL, if anything melee damage is too high; moving on.

If at all, Feral damage is borked, but I wouldn't create a topic to state that, as I only found Rip being screwed up so far. Still, something is wrong with them.

Rogues hit too low? What's that for a report. They're as faceroll as they used to be in 2.4.3. Sometimes you deal more damage because of a critial strike, but on a more serious note a Sub Fail Rogue has a ton of damage increasing effects which push damage significantly, although just over a few seconds and under certain circumastances, just test it again with that in mind, and also keep an eye out on your enemy's buffs.

Warriors are probably the most fixed class here, I never saw a MS crit for over 6k, just don't confuse MS with Execute. On a dummy a S4 warrior probably crits for ~3k, Death Wish and the BG Berserk Buff would increase it to ~4700, 6k are just impossible, unless you fight a naked warrior popping Recklessnes in berserk stance and all that crap.

Actually an S2 warrior critted me for ~4400 with MS. I think I had around 350 - 375 resil at that time, maybe that's the reason.. But I still think that's ridiculous high.

Yep, but I'm sure it was without beserker buff. Not sure if he had death wish.

Well to be fair, a full s4 mage will shatter a target for 5k in like 300 resi, nobody's calling that OP though are they?(well a good s4 mage anyway, such as pce or gohl)

1. I was talking about an S2 warrior not S4.
2. That doesn't gives you an debuff with healing reduction.
3. Mages have mana and not rage. So I think that will cost them a lot of mana. Warriors can just continue doing damage if they got nuff rage.
4. Since when mages are full PvP? I see almost every mage with full PvE gear here only a few parts PvP.

Rage is situational, I guess most warriors will complain about being rage starved often enough. Also the gap from S2 to S4 adds like 60-90AP. The weapon is a different story, but it can be compensated well with something slower than 3.6s (as it pushes the weapon damage to a comparable amount). We're not talking about green vs. purple here.
Thing is, it's not feasible to assume that this topic had a point with that 6100 damage example. The issue needs to be reproducable, otherwise anyone could come up with random numbers. When it comes to class balance nothing can be done at all, MS is a powerful ability, as that healing reduction itself is potent in itself, but that's how it worked back then, and that won't be changed ever. If you get crit for a high amount of damage, there are a lot of factors which made this possible, and these have to be mentioned aswell.
Same with Ghostly Strike... that tree it is in just profits from too many different damage buffs, it needs to be tested properly instead of just stating that its damage is too low (or even worse, stating that the whole class is bugged).
