bugs

Alright, here's some bugs I can think of at the moment and I'll keep on editing this topic when I think of/find another bug.

Fear, roots, idk similar stuff breaks well too easy, I've seen fear break from a single rank1 dot tick lol.This bug is rly major.

Prayer of Mending doesn't take healing bonus.. or well it does but just sometimes.I have no idea how it works but most of the time it heals 800 and sometimes its working properly.

The priest talent Force of Will doesn't work.

Totems like earthbind, poison cleansing, windfury, etc don't tick instantly when used, and they should.

Water elemental doesnt cast waterloot automatically.

Shaman's talent Toughness that's supposed to reduce slowing effects with 50% isnt working properly, instead of reducing the pvp time of the ability it reduces the pve 1.. I suck at explaining. For example hamstring slows for 10 seconds in pvp so the talent should make it 5 seconds but it halves the pve 15 seconds and makes it 7,5.

Mind control is messed up, you cant mind control targets that are affected by fear,poly etc, it breaks the poly(for example) and doesnt mind control.Also when u succesfuly mind control your target u can barely move.

The trinket Timbal's focusing crystal takes spell dmg, and it shouldn't.It also keeps procing after you've died.

All holy spells should be unresistable, there are no holy resistance.And I hit a felhunter for 400 criticals with smite if it doesn't completely resist it.

Balance druid's trees or Force of Nature aren't working.They just won't attack.

Warrior's Spell Reflection reflects frostbites.

Pets run trough walls.

The dwarf's priest racial Desperate Prayer is in the trainer but you can't learn it cause r1 is missing, I guess you can do the quest but you should just make it learnable by the trainer.

Shadowfiend is dumb.. It doesnt regenerate enough mana and sometimes It doesn't even want to attack, even when im using a macro to make it attack.

I've seen warriors geting feared with Deathwish activated, that doesn't always work and I have no explanation.

When your water elemental is killed u cant summon a new 1 right away you need to wait till the pet dissapears.. when pet's time runs out.

As a warlock if you start summoning a new pet while ur current 1 is still alive it summons the old 1, like for example if ur pet is on 1k hp and u summon a new 1 its gonna be on 1k too.

AoE's spells like Blizzard Line of sight is bugged, you can do it behind a pillar.

Pets are affected by pve snare times instead of pvp.

99% sure that pets doesnt scale with owners resilience.

Warrior's spell reflection reflects charge and intercept.

Piercing Howl doesn't take targets out of stealth/prowl/invisibility

Blink sometimes blinks you in the same spot.

Shadowfiend is way too slow.You can outrun it lol.

If you vanish a blind vanish wont get removed.

not 100% sure but mana shield takes too much mana.

You can't dot totems.

Once you focus intercept some1 (with a macro) your auto attack's target is changed with your focus target that you have intercepted, and it shouldn't. And you can't use a startattack macro to make yourslef hit the target you want, you need to stop attacking anyone and reattack the target. Annoying bug... I hope you understood what I mean.

Piercing howl is resisting way too much, targets that should have 0% chance to resist it are resisting 2-3 in row. Is it taking spell hit or something? Just guessing.

Yeah, this is due to pathfinding. It isn't a bug, it's the lack of a feature. Henhouse said some guys (maybe him I don't remember) are working on porting it from Mangos to Oregon Core. I imagine it'll be buggy when it gets here though, oh well. Point is, not a bug 'dere.

It's still something to be fixed so how does it matter.

Well, it's on the to do list. Saying it a million times doesn't help anything now does it?

It's a time intensive feature. Literally it's coding in an AI (although a slightly retarded one). I suspect nothing anyone says can make it happen any faster.

Not sure about those two though.
Crowd Control didn't break on damage alone (except when it's stated ofc), but also randomly/second. (as seen here: http://www.wowwiki.com/Patch_2.0.1 , http://www.wowwiki.com/Patch_2.1.0).

No idea what you mean with Frostbites, reflected spells should proc talents aswell imo.

Any effect which benefits the victim of a critical strike will now trigger even if resilience converted the attack from a critical strike to a normal strike; this applies to melee, ranged, and spell. The affected talents, abilities, and items are: "Eye for an Eye", "Blessed Resilience", "Enrage", "Martyrdom", "Blood Craze", "Eye of the Storm", and "Bonespike Shoulder".
PS.: This made spells proc in PvE with Eye for Eye for instance, ftw!

Also the Draenei Racials don't work that well:
Heroic Presence doesn't have any effect (although it shouldn't stack with the same aura, eg no spell hit stacking with more dranenei in a group)
Hunters, Paladins and Warriors get spell=6562 (physical hit)
Mage, Shaman, and Priest receive spell=28878 (spell hit)

Gift of the Naaru (spell=28880) should scale with 100% healing/spell damage (whichever is higher, which pretty much means healing =p).

THIS! I don't know what the scaling exactly is, but its definately draining much more mana than what it did on retail. Its unuseable atm because of how much mana it makes you lose

Because I got a dwarf priest too and I just learned the racial from the Priest trainer.

Because I got a dwarf priest too and I just learned the racial from the Priest trainer.
The topic was made on 18th august, you just learned it. Do you need more explanations?
