Grounding totem also seems to be soaking up poisons too.

yeaaa it's fun when a grounding totem absorbs a counterspell, a sheep and a nova before having to icelance it before getting destroyed :|

The only time ive seen grounding totem do that is when you use shiv and its out, i also bealive every poison after that will catch to the "grounding totem" if it is out!

Yeh grounding totem seems to take around 2-3 spells before it destroys can get annoying.

Just didnt know if the rogue poison thing has been brought to the publics attention.

Grounding totem, as most of ppl know, absorbs every debuff without destroying. To me its immune agaisnt Immolate, doesnt destroy. I must use Searing Pain on Shams to have any chance, but as ppl guess earth shock, bugged wf, etc. But, if he puts Grounding in combat, nothig except instants can break it (u cant cast possibly), instant on cd? gg

WTB to fix this. After ANY enemys spell, it should dismiss.

I looked on MaNGOS for this and someone reported it a long time ago, but there's a debate whether this is actually working as intended:

I played on retail for some time, and Grounding Totem always disappeared when I casted Corruption or other spells that dont do insta dmg.

I cant be really sure, it was a long time ago, now Im playing with this bug only few days, so dont really rely on me. Still I have to say that it says: every harmful spell, Im sure it redirects debuffs & dismisses totem. It simply cant redirect debuff & stay there.. Just my opinion, I can be wrong, I realize that

it should dissapear after a cast no matter what, if the spell doesnt do instant dmg, even if its a dot, its suppose to ground it, thats it, grounding totem takes 1 spell and dissapears.

You ever here of like umm hitting it???

there's a cool macro that hunters use for totems. Like you spam it and the pet attacks all nearby totems or at least the ones you wanna destroy. Il look it up if i get a chance.
