Resilience Bug

Hey Guys and Girls (:

I am a bit shocked, for real.

So I think this serevr is pretty nice and it makes a lot of fun to play old TBC again.

I really enjoyed my Hunter and I do a lot of BGs and Arenas and Stuff like that :D

BUT :O

My friend and I were a bit surprised, as we crit for nearly 2-3k on a FULL S4 warrior/paladin or Shaman.

So we did a little test. He (shaman) was running about ~300 resilience and I did some auto shots to him.

We noticed the DMG and after that he took ALL PvP Gear on and took ALL resilience Gems in his gear.

He was running about 540 resilience now and u know what happened? NOTHING, the dmg was the same, it was even higher, don't know why.

So PLS GMs , take a look at this here and fix the resilience bug. I was just full S2 and i crit 3k on a full S4 warrior, that can't be!

This server is just so nice, don't destroy him with this liite bug :D

And YES i mean the TBC server, not the WOTLK.

The point of him posting this is that resiliance dosent work, no1 cares about u knowing the cap resiliance.

Resilience has never been perfectly correct, but it works decently fine. Don't expect a fix anytime soon, this stuff has existed in every server.

That's maybe right, but why should this server be one of the servers, where resilience is bugged?

But ok, if u won't fix it, sad. Soo bad!

It's not as easy to fix as you might think. You probably think that typing ".fix resilience" to the database is enough to fix how it works but that's not the case here.

It's like taking an entire car apart, and then putting it all back together in working condition to repair. You don't know where the problem is, but it's somewhere inside.

There is over 800,000 lines of code that make up OregonCore, you really think the fix is easy? If the main Trinity people have never fixed it, we probably don't either.

No, Resilience is working flawlessly, we tested some.

Mage with 450 resil, gets a 415 dmg tick from a SW:P
with 300 resil he got like 450 dmg.

Crit reduce. I have 8% crit, mage had 11% vs crits.
I shot about 10 MB / SWD / smites. no crit

Crit dmg reduce, Mage shattered for 2100 dmg no resil.
With 450 resil (22% reduction) he shot 1600.

Idno what u did but it's workin =)
