Windfury Weapon bugged
Re: Windfury Weapon bugged
Yeah, let's just have Windfury Totems fixed, it's a custom server you know.
Shamans should also get their own title when they swap totems in combat. Probably free donor codes when WF procs 3 times in a row imo.
Anyone up for a wall of text to propose that?

The difference in our opinions is a result of our understanding of the server dynamic. You seem to want every bug fixed in no order whatsoever. This will result in a chaotic playing experience because the developers do not have the time to fix every bug. I believe the developers should be pragmatic and prioritise bug fixes depending on the severity of game-play impact.Peekaboo wrote:Yeah, let's just have Windfury Totems fixed, it's a custom server you know.

Clearly getting one shot by a warrior with wind-fury in 2v2 is far more game-breaking (and commonplace) that getting bursted down by a Enhance shaman in a BG (hint * hardly anyone plays enhancement in 2v2, why do you think that is?)
In the end of the day it will be for the developers to decide which is the more logical approach. Also please stop endlessly purporting that I have a 'secret' agenda to have all hybrid classes overpowered and dominant.

Well, yes I'm in love with my logic, I'm a narcissist asshat.
I'd even french kiss it if I could.
Seriously, when a bug like that gets fixed I'm all in for consistency. Both have the same mechanic, even if they are different spells. Enhancement just lacks the utility and survivabilty a Warrior brings, but you can't balance that by neglecting bugs.
Deal with it, Enhancement was a piece of crap in TBC, RNG burst, but no utility (=MS op), I don't see a reason why bugs should be held back because of that, or even worse, be implemented to please 2 people, I just don't get it sorry.

I can't say for sure how the SQL data will look for the two spells, but they may not be as interchangeable as you think; hence why I still believe they need to be fixed in order of game-play impact priority.
And just for the record enchancement did actually have a place in tbc arena, especially in 3v3 pre 2.3. Unfortunately they suffer when the level of high-end pve gear increases, and perform poorly when other classes run around in Sunwell ilvl.

Re: Windfury Weapon bugged
Thank you. I never could understand why there are so many enhance shamans running around. Always felt like a squishy warrior that hits like a girl 90% of the time...(Because, really, how often do you get a WF proc where both hits are crits? Exactly.) Though, that 10% does grant some laughable numbers.Peekaboo wrote:Well, yes I'm in love with my logic, I'm a narcissist asshat.

But really, the totem does need some tweaking. I was doing arena with a warrior the other day, and he literally one shot a disc priest, thanks to that totem. Needless to say, I doubt that team was quite as pleased as he or I were.
Re: Windfury Weapon bugged
Pretty much everything Firstaidkit put foward is correct. WF should have a 3s internal cooldown between procs. One thing I will add is (I think) Shamans can/should be able to get around this by putting windfury rank 5 on their mainhand and rank 4 on their offhand.
