What's wrong with the AV boss?

4 people would never ever be able to "solo" the end boss with all 4 towers up on retail, something is terribly wrong with the balance here.

I did so many AVs on retail back in TBC and never even heard of 4 people killing the bos and 4 tower marshals alone, no matter how good they are the boss used to 1 shot you.

AV is completley loosing the point and has bacome a rush the boss only BG.

It was pretty much this during TBC. Granted, we also have people in end-game gear which we didn't have so much of on retail.

The bosses aren't accurate in damage, and for some reason the guards on Alliance are weaker than Horde. I (hopefully soon) will be fixing this and probably apply some buffs to the generals so that people are more likely to do objectives.

To clear what you said, I did many rush boss runs until I completely stopped playing AV.

When a Marshal dies, Vanndar will lose the tower's buff for a given time (repop time), it's supposed to work this way.

However, I agree that the Alliance NPCs/players are weaker than Horde NPCs/players.

Also, Vanndar easily hits 10k every 1-2 seconds when I'm on bear form and I NEVER managed to do this with 4 people. It was ALWAYS with at least 3 healers and more than 10 dps.

I did 5 AVs today and every run was just a rush the boss and ignore everything else.
So I suggest a temp fix, you could make the marshals stay inside the boss room like you did not a long ago with the boss it self, this would make it way harder to kill them because you would have to fight all 5 of them (4 marshals + boss) all the same time in the same room, so people would be forced to take down the marshals by burning towers, currently they pull them out one by one which makes them a easy kill.

This fix should also be easy and quick to implement because it's the same thing you already did for the boss, so you have the code and no debuging is needed to find out how.

Also bring us back AV twice a day, the other 3 are constantly running and veterans are getting sick of them :)
