When you queue a heroic strike or cleave, pressing escape should cancel it, interface shows that it's canceled, however it's casted anyway.

Re: Warrior Bugs - Report here
A strange Warrior bug I just noticed recently:
If you have one of the Fear immunity buffs on you (eg Death Wish or Berserker Rage) and you also use the other one, after one of them fades off you will be affectable to Psychic Scream. But strangely enough, only to the mentioned Priest Fear, the Warrior/Warlock Fear not. (Tested)
Example:
You are fighting a Rogue and Priest, you use Death Wish (Fear immunity, more damage), soon after you also use Berserker Rage (possibly to remove a Gouge, etc), after 10 seconds Berserker Rage fades off but you still have ~20 seconds of Death Wish left but the Priest uses Psychic Scream and you are Feared (still having the buff on).
(Note: This also goes the other way, Berserker Rage still up, Death Wish fading.)
I wouldn't call this bug crucial nor gamebreaking although there are more similar situations where this can be of an annoyance or even cause a loss (in a duel or a match). Due to the nature of this bug I doubt it would be hard to fix.
Sincerely,
Retardcleave

Re: Warrior Bugs - Report here
I wondered for a while why this was happening. Thanks for being able to reproduce the problem, it should make for an easier fix.

Re: Warrior Bugs - Report here
intervene seems to be bugged. sometimes it doesn't work at all- that's really hard to prove but I am not the only one who noticed this
but from what i have noticed, if for example warrior intervenes to me i get buff but after I get attacked and the attack is redirected to the warrior the buff is not gone. i belive it should be gone
edit: adding a screen

Re: Warrior Bugs - Report here
So if the buff stays up, can more than one effect be intervened? Or is it visual only? Could it possibly be some sort of a spell resist that causes it to not work at all on rare occasions?

Re: Warrior Bugs - Report here
Warrior rage generation is too low. I typed an extensive bugreport but the forum ate it, so information sources for correct rage generation:
http://wayback.archive.org/web/20080624 ... ageNo=1#16
http://wayback.archive.org/web/20081019 ... generation
Rage value gain is at least supported by the rage gain by the warrior tank in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eFa3MJCKhgU
Currently rage generation is about a third of what it should be.

Re: Warrior Bugs - Report here
We currently use those exact formulas in the game core.
15d / 4c + fs / 2
I have tested the theoretical and in-game results many times, and the rage generated (with a two handed weapon) seems correct.
Say a warrior does a 1000 damage white swing (about right with a two handed weapon vs a cloth target)
(15 * 1000) / (4* 274.7) = 13.65
+ (3.5 * 3.6) / 2 = 6.3
Total rage for the hit = 19.95. A similar hit on the server generates ~ the same rage.
Rage gained for receiving damage :
R=2.5d / c
Do 1000 damage to a warrior ingame and he will generate ~10 rage, which is correct according the the formula.
I have not extensively tested tanks. I suspect the formula works for ~2.6 speed one handers. There could be other problems in the protection talent tree. The problem tanks have in SC is we have no Sunwell radiance buff, and that makes tanks basically avoidance capped.
Avoidance capped as a warrior = rage starvation.
We need to add Sunwell radiance into SC.

Re: Warrior Bugs - Report here
Then it would appear rage generation doesn't work properly against Dummies.
