Unstable Affliction
Re: Unstable Affliction
Hm, too lazy to look it up sorry, but I'm pretty sure that elitistjerk table is still around.
Let's just say I don't play Rogue at all.

As it is now the only benefit you get from UA is the 5 sec silence, if you even can call that a benefit for a 41 point talent.
Anyway on retail atleast i remember my highest crit was like 5-6k something and hit around 3k normal, compared to here where it's been like 1-2k maximum

As I recall it, resilience doesn't affect damage done by a direct hit...Amgseret wrote:4k damage doesnt sound that unrealistic, given how squishy affi locks are and the effects of resil, it would be around 3k in "real" pvp.
EDIT:
I've had similar crits and hits with Unstable Affliction on several other private servers. Here on SF it's totally something else.Neoxis wrote:Anyway on retail atleast i remember my highest crit was like 5-6k something and hit around 3k normal, compared to here where it's been like 1-2k maximum

Re: Unstable Affliction
It turns out that you might be right with that 180% scaling (scroll up a little).Peekaboo wrote:Hm, too lazy to look it up sorry, but I'm pretty sure that elitistjerk table is still around.

This is however last tested in WotLK and I couldn't find anything related to dispell damage scaling in TBC. I'm not sure if all of these numbers are still valid or useful, but since they are faintly relared to the matter at hand I decided to post 'em anyway.

Re: Unstable Affliction
Hooray! Evidence dating back to the times of the patch 2.4.3 and The Burning Crusade! And once again the dispell damage coefficient is 180%!
EDIT: More evidence
