A couple of bugs
Re: A couple of bugs
Charge and Intercept need someone serious work done. Atm there's 50% chance you'll fall through the ground after using them, 90% if you're in EOTS.
What's worst is that it takes time until you fall all the way down and then you don't even die and get ressed, you get ported to gy with 50% hp. Complete waste of time.

Re: A couple of bugs
The problem is the texture, not the spells. :)
I haven't played retail for ages, but, was/is it even possible to charge up from the ground and up to the Graveyard?
I recall retail 'error' messages like " No path available ". Never seen that kind of message here except not in sight and such :>

It was always possible to charge up like that, the "No path available." error rarely occurred.Raven wrote:The problem is the texture, not the spells. :)

I was always into exploring and I remember visiting some hard to reach places in vanilla with some fancy wall jumping. I occasionally had a friend with me who was a warrior and whenever he couldn't make a climb or just took him too long we would duel and he would charge up to me. Never had issues and never fell through the ground and he was charging on some really messed up terrain and around rocks, trees etc.
Re: A couple of bugs
Aight, but the problem here is still the terrain, which I doubt can be fixed :o

Moar bugs!
Hunter's Mark isn't revealing stealthed targets.
Big one - falling damage is messed up. It's ridiculously high plus you seem to randomly take craplod of falling damage and just fall down dead. So far I've identified two cases that are easy to reproduce:
First one, fly around Outland with flying mount then land. Just go high enough so the fall from that distance would kill you and then land on the ground with the mount (don't jump or dismount!). For some reason you take falling damage as if you fell.
Second one, if you ride down to gold mine in AB and an opponent targets you with a spell, you take around 6.8k falling damage for every spell that lands. So if a priest does VT + SWP that's 6.8k dmg x2. I'm guessing it's the same if you ride down from LM and get attacked, haven't noticed it yet tho.

Re: A couple of bugs
That's related to the anticheat detecting people who are using slow fall cheating. I'll attempt working on a fix right now -- it seems it's being calculated twice instead of once.Jailbait wrote: Big one - falling damage is messed up. Edit: Fixed, will apply fix tonight I think.

What exactly is slow fall cheating?Henhouse wrote:That's related to the anticheat detecting people who are using slow fall cheating. I'll attempt working on a fix right now -- it seems it's being calculated twice instead of once.

I just used Free Action Potion and got Wing Cliped while it was on - I still got slowed. Seems the issue is not BoF but Wing Clip ignoring snare immunities.Jailbait wrote:Second one, Blessing of Freedom doesn't negate Wing Clip's slow effect, you remain slowed despite having freedom.
Re: A couple of bugs
Either Frost Nova or Frostbite ignore immunity aswell.
Tap Peekaboo: Upset target moron.

Re: A couple of bugs
Jailbait, the Warden(anticheat system) thinks slow fall is a hack, because the way the spell acts.
Wing Clip, Frost Trap and Unholy DK's Desecration is one of several spells who ain't affected by immunity's atm. Thus they should
