Is there any way to close those battlegrounds after a certain amount of time?

You're not forced to stay in the bg.
You could always leave.

There is. I've thought about it to get people to focus on the objectives, but it is a very wrath-y feature. But then again, so is returning to your spot where you ENTERED the BG and not the BG NPC you queued at when the battle is over -- which we've been doing for years.

Is this still up for consideration? :3
