So basically Xilience and i had a few duels and he frapsed them and made a tutorial out of them from mage POV. If you want tips on how to duel rogues as a mage or vice versa it's a good watch, or if you just want to watch a few good duels.

You gotta admitt i look good on TV xD / Its not much of a tutorial ... when i started putting all the tips i had to i was like wtf its a 30 second duel and i gotta write a poem ... no way so i just putted some not so known tips xD

You need a tutorial to kill rogues as mage? *rolleyes* Just kidding, I read the thing before the duels started and understood it.

How are you liking the soft contrast?

We're both well aware that the matchup is an uphill battle for the rogue, it took me like 6 duels before i won one. If anything the tips can be used for rogues against mages.

Duels differ from time to time but in the first of the three duels shown everything was going perfectly for me until Xillience got a reset and i had nothing left to stop him getting it and nothing left to escape his tunneling of me. The second duel was ridiculous, and the third duel i landed a garrotte with ice barrier down, and was able to take off 60-70% of his health in 2 seconds.

Bottom line is you have to pull something special to beat a mage as good as Xillience, most of them just have a panic attack if you rush them a bit and pile on pressure.

To give rogues a bit of help never overlap cooldowns. There's no point vanishing or blinding whilst you have cloak of shadows up because he can't hit you anyway, notice how i waited for cloak of shadows to expire before i blinded Xillience and got a cleaner opener.

You should do a video from your pov.

My computer isn't good enough to handle any recording equipment or i drop to about 5 frames, if i upgrade the ram or processor i might do in future though, i guess from a mage POV you miss a lot of the little things you have to do to get an edge up.
